Recently went and had the nachos, just like I remember them. Meat is well seasoned and cooked well. Only thing is it's very small chunks almost like ground beef. I like a little more bite but it's definitely great food here. Staple in Patterson for sundays as well. Hand made tortillas.

Food is pretty good for the most part. The only thing for me is that when I call to order for pick-up, they always say 15-20 minutes. Knowing from previous experience, I always go 30-40 minutes after I place the order bc every time when I get to here, I'm still waiting for my food. It's been an hour since the c order was placed. Even someone who came to place their order at the restaurant gets their food first. How? Why? Why can't they just be honest about the time?? Overall, food is good and decently priced.

Located on the outer part of the downtown area is what most consider to be the best Mexican food Patterson has to offer. Ernies is definitely one of the oldest restaurants in town. This place is the true definition to a hole in the wall. It's not too big and might not have the best curb appeal, but inside is unique in its own little way. The service has always been great and usually pretty busy. The best quality about Ernies is what we all come for... it's the food. The breakfast burrito w/chorizo, potato and egg is great anytime of the day. The Super Burrito, either with or without meat never disappoints. But it's the Super Nachos, which comes with the perfect amount of cheese the top item on the menu for me. They are open during COVID for delivery, takeout or curbside pickup only. They are closed Monday's and serve breakfast all day.
